We got to witness the strong bond that was shared between a mother and daughter, through the televised series, "A family Hustle," and also through Instagram. Last year, Kamaya, lost her best friend and mother Precious. We all shared in the loss, as Kamaya shared heartwarming moments captured between her and her mother. Kamaya will be sharing our Celebrity Guest Panel to talk about the Importance of the Mother-Daughter Bond!
Daveda was introduced to modeling at the tender age of ten as an attempt to combat her extreme shyness. During her early years with Southern Enterprise Charm School she quickly grew from student to Instructor. There she was responsible for the delivery of instruction to children, teens and adults as well as choreography and production of fashion shows. At The University of Akron she produced fashion shows for the local charter of The NAACP and Black United Students. There her passion for fashion was intensified. In April of 2003, she incorporated Segami International Inc. and led the organization successfully for seven years. Serving as President and CEO, delivering exceptional instruction as an Instructor, grooming exceptional students into Junior Instructors, producing fashion show graduations, overseeing a dynamic parent committee and soliciting the advice of experts in the industry all lead to the success of Segami International, Inc. In 2014, she joined the world of pageantry. Acting as Pageant Director for The 1st Annual B-Elite Pageant, Ms. D (affectionately called by the contestants and parents) hosted her first SUCCESSFUL pageant! Acknowledged in the 13th & 14th Editions of Who's Who in Black Cleveland!!!!!

Valerie Brown is Cleveland, Ohio's Runway Coach Extraordinaire. With over 20 years of runway and print experience, she now shares her skills and talents with others. She has traveled the world doing fashion shows and coaching up and coming models. She has graced the stage for many notable Fashion Designers and Boutiques; Styles of Imagination, Fowler Fashions and Anderson Couture to name a few. Ms. Brown is a staple with New York Fashion Week and she is responsible for training models to walk the famous runway. She is the CEO of Leidilike Modeling School and the current Runway/Pageant Coach for B-Elite Pageants. Her mission is to encourage women to be the best version of themselves by acknowledging self worth.

Monica is a published author, transformational speaker, Sociology professor and a Chronic Kidney Disease advocate. She earned a Bachelor’s of Art in Organizational Management from Tiffin University and a Master’s degree in Sociology from Cleveland State University with a concentration in racial, ethnic and gender inequality as well as criminology. She is currently a Sociology professor for Cuyahoga Community College where she has taught for the past ten years. She has spent most of her career in higher education in various roles including Academic Advising at Cleveland State University.
Monica is also a member of several organizations including Cuyahoga Community Colleges Black American Council where she mentors several students. She is a lifetime member of the Sociology Honor Society, Alpha Kappa Delta and several other sociology associations. Outside of her career she is involved with several social activities the minority health alliance, the racism committee for the Cleveland Catholic Diocese and she is the proprietor of Hosanna House Enterprises.

Serena Amos is a respected educator, leader, and nationally certified human resource professional whose reputation was built on dedication and hard work in her field. She’s an ed tech trainer, human resource consultant, and national presenter. While Serena has what she considers "the career of her dreams", she is most proud of her roles as wife and mother. Serena and her husband have a blended family that includes their seven children. Serena is co-presenting with her daughter. Mya Edwards, who is a 2019 graduate of Spelman College and business technology analyst at a global consulting firm. Though based in Atlanta, GA, Mya travels the world helping businesses manage and analyze date to maximize their performance.

Born to Ontario Flowers in 1991 in Fayetteville, NC. Desmonae was raised by her mother, grandmother, and aunts in Raeford, NC, due to her mother’s previous and current service in the Army. As a military child, she moved around a lot and it made her, well-rounded, understanding, and appreciative of different cultures, cuisines, religions, and people. Graduating in 2009 from Lloyd C. Bird her journey of college did not pan out the way that she planned. In 2010, she lost a daughter to stillbirth, but in 2013 and 2014 she gave birth to two beautiful children who became her inspiration. Life lead her on many paths and gave me obstacles but she decided to step out on faith after the birth of my daughter and finish her psychology degree. In 2017, she began as a writer for Waytoparent Lifestyle Magazine, and in 2019, started her own catering business, ADashofDes. With it being 2020 and she is reaching new goals every day, standing on her faith she cannot and will not be stopped.

Playing the Cards You've Been Dealt!
Monique Williams Kelly is the Senior Director of Community Engagement at St. Luke’s Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio, an adjunct professor at the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University, an entrepreneur, and proud wife and mother of four amazing boys.
Throughout the years Monique has worked with teen girls and young women. In 2004, she successfully launched a girl’s program, Shades (Sharing Hopes and Dreams: Expressions of Self), which started as a teen newsletter for black girls that was distributed throughout Northeast Ohio. The newsletter grew into a program that was designed to teach life skills and increase the self-esteem of girls between the ages of 13-18 in Cleveland and Akron, Ohio.
One of Monique’s greatest aspirations is to help young ladies restore what has been broken and interrupt the cycle of toxic behaviors before they become patterns. She aims to do this through ministry - providing speaking, workshops, and spaces for healing.

Octavia Bradley is a woman of God, wife, mother, CEO, educator, transformational speaker and Life Enhancement Coach. She was born and raised in New York City and placed in one of New York’s Foster Care Systems where she learned to survive with her younger sister. Her life was filled with pain and struggle but out of all she had to do to survive, she has become a phenomenal woman. Because Octavia was a product of the child welfare system in New York and an overcomer of domestic violence, she is most passionate about helping others. Octavia worked in the social service field for over 20 years, and in August 2017 she resigned from the State of New Jersey and continued her services as an educator at several colleges and universities.
Octavia started her own company called Reveal 2 Heal Consulting Services Inc in 2018, as a family serving families. The company is comprised of individuals with personal experience and over 45 years of direct social service support, prevention techniques, compassion and education. Octavia has also excelled in her online talk show Let’s Talk where she has won two awards for best talk show and talk show most viewed on Christian Vision Entertainment Network. She has written her 1st book an autobiography of her life titled Leaked Spilling Secrets of Trauma and has written her 2nd Book titled Reveal 2 Heal

Sharone D. Thomas, is the founder of No Longer Powerless, a movement created to help woman and girls heal from LOVE deficits, embrace their inner POWER and defeat the orphan spirit. She is dedicated to introducing the broken-hearted to the one who heals broken hearts (Jesus Christ).
Sharone endured a lot of pain and misfortune growing up, but she has remained resilient in the face of adversity, and she is passionate about inspiring others to do the same. Her message is for those who have been rejected, physically and mentally orphaned. She is building a platform that will teach them to tap into the power God has given them and activate that power in every area of their lives. Sharone grew up with an orphan spirit because she had a love deficit that left her feeling rejected, broken hearted and powerless. The tragic death of her father and the struggles of her mother, threatened to keep her from reaching her full potential, but she refused to let it. With faith and determination she fought to be healed and walk in purpose. Sharone is a mom, author and visionary who is excited about fully walking in her purpose knowing that she has been called for such a time as this. She believes that once you tap into the POWER God has given you, the possibilities are endless.
Healing from the Effects of Rejection
LaShawn C. Hicks, born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, is the mother of two beautiful daughters. Hicks began her career in the medical field in 1996 as a Paramedic for the City of Cleveland. Hicks attended the University of Akron and Huron School of Nursing where she obtained her nursing degree, later she attended Kaplan University and obtained her Master of Science degree in Nursing Education. She is a PhD candidate at Purdue Global University where she is pursuing her Doctorate of Nursing Practice with a specialization in Executive Leadership.
Hicks’ passion to help others achieve their dreams of becoming a nurse drove her to become a clinical instructor for several colleges and universities in the Greater Cleveland area. Hicks has been a Nurse Manager, Director of Nursing and Chief Nursing Officer throughout her career. She knew that her passion to help others was much deeper than working in the hospitals with patients once they became sick so she launched her group fitness/personal training business SeRNity Fitness. Her passion for fitness has lead her to the stage where she is a fulfilled her dream of becoming a figure competitor. She has been in two body building competitions and won 4 trophies as a result.

Angela Miller is the Founder and Creative Director of Furaha Forever Productions. You can find her at one of her “pop up” community art excursions such as Painting in the Park Family Fun Day, Cleveland Art Week and others throughout the Cleveland area. Her mission is to plant seeds of love, hope and creativity. As an art enthusiast, Angela is passionate about helping students cultivate self-love and appreciate their individual creativity. Through her creative and consulting firm, she is committed to helping children walk confidently in their creativity and encouraging parents to nurture their child’s artistic talents.
Angela has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and is a Licensed Social Worker. She has written, directed and produced several inspirational plays. For nearly 30 years, she has professionally worked with children and families. Mrs. Miller is married to Anthony Miller and they have two daughters and three grandchildren.
Randi Mull, serves as the Operations Manager of Burning Bush Church, under the headship of Pastors DeJuan & Stacey Kelker. She began ministry in 2007 when she dedicated her life to Christ. Randi is an ordained Minister, author (“Saved, Single & Sane”, “Forward”, “The Assistant”), and playwright who desires to see young men and women follow her as she follows Christ.
She is married with 5 beautiful children.
She lives by the promise of John 8:36, "if the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed".
Legacy: Continuing the Work God Predestined for You
Kathy Mayfield is the leader of a youth group, Garfield Youth Empowerment Group, since 2006, for students 6- 12th gr, where she teaches runway modeling and choreographed dance, as well as participating in community service, charity and political events, and college admissions. They compete yearly in the citywide Best of the Best Fashion Show Competition. They are the only school to have won four 1st place trophies (3 back to back) in the 5 yrs they have been
competing. In addition, Ms. Mayfield coaches Girl's Basketball for Bedford City Schools. She is currently the Missions Coordinator and Sponsorship Manager for B-Elite Pageants and reigning Queen for the 2019 Grown & Sexy Pageant (B-Elite Pageants). Lastly, she is a runway and print model. Her platform is Youth Empowerment.

Her passion for affecting transformation in the lives of others is what drives her.
Teresa is the proud mother of three adult children, two daughters and one son. She also delights in the greatest title ever bestowed upon her, that being "Glammah" to three granddaughters and one grandson.
