M-D Connect focuses on the core of the mother-daughter relationship. Topics stem from the foundation’s pillars of sexual abuse prevention, domestic violence awareness, and incarcerated parenting. The program is a 6-week series of one-on-one coaching, journaling, and guidance that provides both mother and daughter an opportunity to engage in activities and exercises that focus on communication, trust, and love. As a result of the 6-week series, mothers and daughters learn to utilize the tools gained to effectively communicate with each other, in addition, understanding how to address barriers of life that girls and women are challenged with.

Retreat to Revive is our yearly retreat for mothers and daughters! This 4-day experience has been developed to identify the unproductive generational cycles and barriers present in the mother-daughter relationship. During this retreat issues will be revealed, addressed and structured for forgiveness, while also providing tools to use and next steps for success. Due to the intensive nature of this retreat, there are only a limited amount of mother-daughter duos who are able to participate.

Connected Always programming provides opportunities for children of incarcerated parents to stay connected. Sessions are provided to encourage the communication between daughters and their parents who are incarcerated. This platform extends into the prisons as sessions are offered to incarcerated parents to enable them to begin to understand their critical position as a parent and also how to communicate effectively with their daughters from a place of love and support.

Mothers and Daughters Revived is our yearly conference! Starting in 2019, this conference was developed to provide mothers and daughters a weekend of bonding, communicating, and learning. With over 25 sessions and growing, speakers from various regions come to provide expertise in “GIRL” topics. Moms and daughters are able to spend a weekend growing together, emotionally and physically. Topics are inclusive of all ages rather you have daughters or you are someone’s daughter, this conference is ALL GIRL, ALL WEEKEND!

Through her candid conversations, Luciana is able to bring you into her world, from childhood through adulthood, her life as a single mom, classroom teacher and ultimately a principal at one of the largest high schools in Cleveland. Speaking on the foundational pillars is her passion and hearts work.
